Italian Baked Spaghetti Squash
Italian Baked Spaghetti Squash

Ingredients:

*2 medium Spaghetti Squash

*2 tablespoons olive oil

*1/2 teaspoon salt

*1/2 teaspoon black pepper, ground

Filling:

*8 ounce Italian sausage, ground

*1 medium onion

*2 small bell pepper, red

*3 cloves garlic

*2 cup Marinara Sauce

*1/2 teaspoon salt

*8 ounce mozzarella cheese

Recipe:

1. Preheat oven to 400 defrees F.

2. Cut both spghettie squash in half lengthwise ans scrape out the seeds. Oil the halves and season with salt and pepper.

3. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for about 30 minutes or until soft.

4. While the squash bakes, prepare the filling. Place the sausage in a skillet over medium heat.

Use a wooden spoon to break up the meat. Once cooked, remove from the pan.

5. Dice the onion and peppers and add to the pan. Saute until the veggies are soft.

6. Mince garlic and add to the pan with veggies, cook for 1 minute. Add the mtea, marinara and salt. Stir well and remove from the heat.

7. When the squash is done, use a fork th fluff up the squash. It will flake apart and look like spaghetti!

Top with the filling; divide among the squash halves and top with shredded cheese.

8. Broil in the oven until the cheese is melted, about 2 minutes.

9. Serve warm.
